The origin's of Helen's Myth date back to the Mycenaean age.
In the 'Helen of Troy' version, the Iliad describes the differences between Achilles and his leader Agamenon, and between the Greeks and the Trojans, following the abduction of Agamenon's sister-in-law Helen of Sparta. Though it is still unclear if Helen chose to go or was forced to leave Sparta, it still ignited the battle between Sparta and Troy. Helen is the object of one of the most dramatic love stories of all time, and one of the main reasons for a ten-year war between the Greeks and Trojans.
A different version of the story is 'Abduction by Theseus and youth'. Athenians, Theseus and Pirithous, thought that since they were both sons of Gods, that both should have devine wives; so they pledged to help each other abduct two daughters of Zeus. Thesus chose Helen, and Pirithous vowed to marry Persephone, the wife of Hades. Theseus took Helen and left her with his mother Aethra or his associate Aphindnus at Athens. Theseus and Pirithous then traveled to the underworld, the domain of Hades, to kidnap Persephone. Hades pretended to offer them hospitality and set a feast, but, as soon as the pair sat down, snakes coiled around their feet and held them there. Helen's abduction caused an invasion of Athens by Castor and Pollux, who captured Aethra in revenge, and returned their sister to Sparta.
There are many other versions to the the story of Helen. It was clear in all stories that Helen was a wanted woman, and that she played a factor on the Trojan War. I feel that although Helen's "abduction" cause quite a stir, the Greeks and the Trojans wanted to fight each other anyway. The Greeks and Trojans had their differences, I highly doubt that one woman was the "ultimate reason" for a whole entire ten-year battle. According to the true facts about Helen, 'Helen of Troy' is a more accurate story then 'Abduction by Theseus and youth'. The main question is; "Did Helen choose to go for love?" or "Was she really abducted against her will?" Some versions state that she was married at the time of her abduction, and that she was cheating on her husband with the enemy's prince. Some versions state that she was abducted by the one who longed to marry her. Helen was not only an inspiration for many poems and love stories, she is also an inspiration for many beauty products.

Leadership
Leaders are people who are focused of achieving greatness. They will not stop until their goal has been reached. Great leaders have many achievements, except for when an obstacle stands in their way. That obstacle can either be the law, or public, or press, etc. I do not think less of leaders who show weakness or encounter failure, because they are human. I do think less of leaders who let failures make them weak and keep the down. Martin Luther King Jr. was an excellent leader. He pushed though all the obstacles until he achieved what he was hoping to. He did not let an obstacle keep him knocked down. He encouraged others to rise up, and not except failure as an option.

No ABC's?
I think that the world would be a mess without the alphabet. We wouldn't be able to write or read anything. There would only be talking, (I think we have enough of that). I like to take a break from always listening or talking, to read or write something. I would go insane if I was not able to do so. I can handle verbal directions/instructions very well, but I would be a complete wreck without written directions/instructions. I am also a child from this generation so texting, and typing is way easier than calling somebody and having a conversation. The alphabet is simply a necessity for the world, without it, everything would be a nightmare to me. Besides, the ABC song is so fun to sing!

My thoughts on Completing my resume
I feel that the process of completing my resume was not that difficult. I used a Microsoft Publisher Resume Templete. The process was simple because I only had to fill in the blank spaces with my personal information. I think the only reason why writing a resume would be difficult is if you cant remember the dates, or the names of the companies that you have worked for in the past. I learned that a resume is a good way to brag about all of your accomplishments. My views have not changed about resumes since the freewriting assignment because I had a positive opinion about resumes, and my opinion is still currently positive.

Resumes
I think that resumes are an essential tool while applying for/obtaining a job because it is a record of your job history and career goals. It is an organized document that helps future employers determine if you are qualified for the job position you are interested in. A resume usually has a person's basic information listed, along with past places of employment, references, and career objectives. I've seen my mothers resume and it listed all of her " life's work" on one sheet of paper. I think resumes are a very helpful and organized tool because it enables a person from having to carry a bundle of files and documents to an interview. I am very delighted to write my first resume in the near future.
